Our Founder and Creative Director Omolara Martins, born in London, England and standing at 5’10 ft with size 9.5UK feet understands our customers needs. By age 10 she wore size 8 UK shoes which she hated because she wanted to wear the same shoes as her friends. However her only options were shoes for women 3 times her age.
Educated in London until age 12 she then attended a prestigious boarding school in South Africa until she was 16. After returning back to the UK she started her first part time job at Topshop. After completing her GCSE’S in a fast track one year course, she attended The Fashion Retail Academy in London were she studied 14 subjects for her BTEC Level 3 in Business Retail and obtained Triple Merit in her studies. Subjects included Fashion Marketing, Buying, Visual Merchandising and Supply Chain Management.
During her studies ,she departed from Topshop and went on to work for luxury retailer Mulberry and Harrods. She also completed personal shopping internships at the reputable Quintessentially Concierge and Threads Styling. At the age of 19 she built from scratch her own freelance personal shopping service named ‘ Miss a La Mode’ where she caters to finding the most and exclusive handbags for clientele such as royalty and celebrities and renowned influential people.
With loyal clients from Africa, Australia, Asia, North and South America, Europe and the Middle East. She built strong brand relationships with the likes of Hermes, Chanel, Kenzo Celine, Givenchy, Prada, Gucci Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin and Guissupe Zanotti.
After spending more than 4 years dedicated to the top 1%, she is now launching this shoe collection to carer to everyones’ fashionable needs, regardless of background and social status.
